Tell me why we need a damn stone if it's just about a "strong bond." Tell me where his damn stone thing is. Tell me why it's at all likely or necessary for this to ever be incorporated into the games.

Being innovative is not the same as pulling **** out of their ass. Be innovative with the game, stop trying to mess with the actual pokemon world and legacy. It's just ridiculous. And we've been following this franchise for ages, we are allowed to complain. If you don't like it then leave, we wont miss ya either.

Any proof as to what these "stones" are or do? Any video game footage indicating their function? Any official sources stating that these will be used for a new evolutionary mechanic? Any evidence at all besides "hey there's these things that we don't know what they are clearly they MUST be for the introduction of an anime only mechanic!!"?

Zygarde forms are in the anime and that **** didn't happen.

Because it's a gimmicky mechanic that feels unnecessary when we already have a "strong bound" type evolution to strengthen our Pokemon. It feels pointless and wasted time. Why try to fix something that was never broke? If Ash-Greninja is anything to go off of then it's ugly and looks messy. Like a child's drawing of himself as a Pokemon.

If it's "just mega evolution with a different name" then why have it? When we already have something that has worked well. If it's only exclusive to your starter then that's fine, but anything other then that should just get mega evolutions.

And y'all DO realise that Synchro and ReBURST are two very different things right? ReBURST is when they fused and it got canned because no one liked it. Synchro - what is happening in the anime - uses synergy stones (which is also present in Pokken Tournament, and also appears in the japanese logo of Pokemon Sun and Moon like mega stones in the XY logos). The Pokemon don't fuse with the human. They just take on a similar appearance. And they literally look almost the same:



Besides the added hair and the shiruken at its back; it's just a color change. Which could easily be how it's portrayed in Sun and Moon; and also if we get a color picker instead of individual colored clothes, that also explains why we can change our clothes before even getting our first Pokemon.
