Yeah and TSOS has been in the Top 50 on HDS for almost 4 months, has 60 million YT views in under 6 months, and is actually in the Spotify Top 200. But Top 40 won't give Disturbed the time of day, and HAC is barely better.
So why T40 wants to play these songs with far poorer metrics and ignore a buzzworthy cut like TSOS seems somewhat conspiratory against real Rock bands. I wonder if Second Chance could've even made the Top 20 today, because I doubt even as big as that song was on mainstream radio in 2009 (#3 Top 40, #1 HAC, Top 15 AC) it would now probably only scrape the bottom half of the Top 40 chart.
