Does human life matter? Yes. But don't ask people to ignore the fact that dogs are living creatures who have been scientifically proven able to form attachments to humans. Dogs CAN be family - and if it were a choice between your baby and someone else's, no one would give you **** for choosing to save your own kid. It doesn't make you a bad person, it makes you a human being with emotions in a bad situation.

That being said, I'd save my dogs. Both of them. Bye kid.

The strangers child .. I mean... what kind of question is this? Sadly, but quite frankly, I'm putting that innocent, young child's life above a dog, as horrible as it sounds, but its the truth. Yes, animals are great, but I can't get with this at all.

I'd commend him if I could. He doesn't even know me, so why should he care about me?

Animals, like most humans, don't want to die, but I know that's an alien concept to a lot of people.
