I tried to get into this album, but every track sounds SUPER generic. They all seem like talented singers & all, but they're just trying to make songs that the GP WOULD love, but it's tiring.

SO weird how everything decreased but 'Reflection' increased.
Also it looks like "Gonna Get Better" has exited the T1500. Hopefully it can make a re-appearance later today.
I love Reflection but it sounds CHEAP compared to 24/7 IMO. I'll take the upgrade in production and growth in sound/maturity any day.
That being said, yes urban pop does suit them and it's the sound that has made them popular, but obviously the girls enjoy having a pop sound also. As long as there is a balance it shouldn't matter.
7/27 isn't even that POP to being with. TMG/The Life are the most obvious ones but songs like Gonna Get Better, Write On Me, I Lied all have different elements that set them apart from typical bubblegum pop.

Flex needs to start smashing quickly or we're screwed.
Yeah 7/27 production doesn't sound cheap, but the lyric writing sure does. I was annoyed Reflection had so many lyrics based on slang and pop culture but I think I would actually take that over each song only having 6 different lines of lyrics just repeated like half the songs on 7/27 do.
I was thinking of 5H's slayage and I automatically typed 24/7 oop.
