+ its movie/director homages and tributes that also serve to underline the weekly themes is sth no other show has even remotely come close to yet to that extent. It's no surprise one of the main writers of The Sopranos ran this show. Talent stays together.

I wasn't really looking forward to the last half of the final season when they split them up between 2014/2015 years but they managed to build Don up from such a steep decline to him doing something that would define his legacy (in the series hihi). Also, seeing Sally grow up and kinda take charge of the family

I remember the original actor for Bobby basically called January Jones a bitch
