I'm perfectly fine. Actually well put together. Its not my fault y'all are so offended by a hypothetical question and hypothetical answer.

My dog is my responsibility and I'm going to take care of her.

It's not even fathomable to assume I would be in this situation ever though. I mean, me, my dog, and some random ass child in some random ass lake or whatever and this child's parents are nowhere to be found. OK.

Y'all are getting so emotional. And none of it matters to me because I'm still saving my dog and feeding her a ton of Milk bones after its over because she's surely going to be stressed from her near death experience. If these hypothetical parents paid more attention to their hypothetical child, s/he wouldn't have drowned. Not. My. Issue.

Second I don't have a dog so I'd probably save the child. I also hate when children cry so anything to do to make him/her shut up.

Just to let you know I like animals more than kids. As a matter of fact, I like animals more than I like actual people, so my initial response is always going to be "save the animal". I mean, I work in a field that deals with taking care of animals all the time. I'm biased.

Also, parents these days are ****. I, and this is not a lie or exaggeration, had to help this little girl no older than 5, get from the deep end of our apartment complex to the less shallow end, while her ****ing mother smoked a cigarette and watched. Didn't get up, didn't ask if HER child was ok, needed help, anything.

Good thing my dog isn't allowed at the pool.
