Its only a problem when its Rihanna's album...

GGGB is well over 40.000.000 singles sold (My estimation is around 42M-43M) so that adds 4.2M album sales.

9.5M albums sold + 4.2M from pure track sales = 13.7M

+ Streaming numbers + shipments + catalog sales since 2008 (8 years) = 15M

What is it that hard to understand???

21 might be the 2nd best selling album of all time, adding TEA+SEA, probably like 43-45 million

anyway, since these are indeed the new RIAA rules (so 5x platinum is 100% correct for GGGB obviously), it would be nice to see the new certs applying for Adele's discography!
i mean:
19 would possibly be elligible for 4x platinum
21 would be 15x PLATINUM!
and 25 would (already is according to Columbia?) Diamond!

I just wonder why they don't do this for everybody. Why just a selected artist? They should update all artists to make it comparable tbh.

In all honesty, the fact she's the only one doing this out of all her peers just shows how desperately she feels like convincing the GP that she'S really successful. One would think that after all her hits, she'd be confident... lol.
