I want Nicki to make an album that actually means something. She's undoubtedly the biggest female rap star for probably the past decade, but she has yet to make an actually good album. She always trades meaning for club bangers and insightfulness for artificial emotion. She's too self-conscious about how she comes off that it makes her emotions seem so contrived (see Pinkprint). Her writing skills and flow are too good and don't deserve this. Also, STOP SINGING. Bring back mixtape Nicki and Monster. Don't kill off Roman and Martha just to be taken seriously. EMBRACE your cartoonish past and turn it into something new. I don't want to die without hearing a classic album from her.

You're going to have to elaborate. You're contradicting yourself at times, so elaboration is needed.

Because Nicki sings quite a lot on her mixtapes (with BMUS having a ton of singing), so.

I think my point is that she always tries to make herself into something she isn't. In PF and PF:RR, she tries so hard to differentiate herself from any other rapper and ends up becoming like any other pop star. In Pinkprint, she straight out just rejects her entire past to try and make a "personal" record. But in doing so, she rejects everything that makes her unique. The different personalities and voices are the most defining aspects of her flow (see Monster), but she just casts them aside in an effort to emote.
The other points are just random thoughts. She needs to stop singing. She needs to find better producers. She needs to stop making mindless club bangers like The Night is Still Young. And most importantly, she needs to stop trying to fuel the charts and actually fuel herself.
No song on Pinkprint is even comparable to a song say on a Kendrick or Kanye album, but this shouldn't be happening. Nicki has the talent and writing skills to say something about the human condition while holding on to everything that characterizes her as a rapper. And she's better at introspection than Kanye and Drake (see Autobiography, Dear Old Nicki, Still I Rise). And frankly, I think she's just way more interesting than any other rapper. I've been a fan for years, and I hope she's able to come out with a timeless hip hop album because all that ability shouldn't go to waste.

I was talking about the attitude and carefree nature of mixtape Nicki.

So, what if Nicki doesn't want to do the crazy voices and characters anymore? Wouldn't forcing them on for the sake of being unique be not genuine? And doesn't she use a "crazy" voice in Want Some More? Songs like The Crying Game and Mona Lisa are more unique and different than any song that Nicki could've done with a crazy voice or a Roman Zolanski attached to it at this present time.
The second paragraph is iffy, but I don't have anything to say about that.
Again, songs like The Crying Game, and even I Lied are introspective towards Nicki. I can't compare Nicki to Kendrick, Kanye, or Drake because Nicki is Nicki and Kendrick is Kendrick. Nicki has never in her 14 years of rapping been a conscious rapper, so I can't expect her to or even put her in that conversation because it doesn't make sense.
If the only thing that characterizes Nicki is her crazy voices (which she was lambasted for, mind you), well then *shrugs*

I like Nicki's singing. She's getting so much better.
That's apart of Nicki she went to school for acting and singing not rapping. She will always sing and she won't stop singing on her soungs

I agree that Nicki tries to please her audience a little too much. I know y'all gon say that's a good thing cause who else will be listening, but tbh history has proven that when a commercial artist with tons of fans make music for themselves instead of the charts, the longevity of that artist increases exponentially. If she's too left field, she'll lose some of her chart success, but her legacy will be defended by undeniable quality. Look at Bey. She made people-pleasing music and now her vision and artistic expression has pushed her even further past her peers. Look at Adele. When the music is first, the bling will almost always follow suit.
If Nicki were to hone and perfect each aspect of her musical talent and cohesively utilize all of them, then a timeless RAP/HIP-HOP would be inevitable. I know that's asking a lot but hey, classics ain't easy.

If peter piper pecked em, I betcha biggie bust em
He probably tried to **** him, I told him not to trust him
Lyrically, I dust em, off like Pledge
Hit hard like sledge-hammers, bitch with that platinum grammer
I am a diamond cluster hustler
Queen bitch, supreme bitch
Kill a ***** for my ***** by any means bitch
Murder scene bitch
Clean bitch, disease free bitch
Check it, I write a rhyme, melt in your mouth like M&M's
Roll with the M.A.F.I.A. remember them?
Tell em when I used to mess with gentlemen
Straight up apostles, now strictly niggaz that jostle
Kill a ***** for the figure, how you figure?
Your cheddar would be better, Beretta inside of Beretta
Nobody do it better
Bet I wet cha like hurricanes and typhoons
Got buffoons eatin my ***** while I watch cartoons
Pink WHAT?? Minaj WHO????
