When I lived for 3 years in England, when I came back in France, my brain was thinking in English all the time...

I'm one of the lucky guys, that can speak English, French, Spanish, French Carribean Patois, and learning Korean (having this ****** french accent to it).

after studying Korean and brushing up on my Italian, I happened to forget a bit of Spanish

Oh as a language student let me tell you about this app called Hellotalk!!!

Basically it matches you up with someone who wants to learn your native language because you want to learn theirs and it's really cute tbh and I've personally fount it really useful because like its a proper local person that teaches you and stuff.

I failed Arabic class in middle school because I couldn't handle another language, and Korean was just too much as well
So yeah its important that if you learn a language, keep using it and practice all the time

I relate to the bolded part so much. I only know two languages, but it's a daily struggle. I was raised using both of them at the same time, so I tend to use both when I gather my thoughts. I think of a word in one language and forget how to say it in the other nnn. It's a mess.

Russian only helps me in this country because there are a lot of russians here who don't know hebrew so I help them if I see anyone like that. My family keeps on making jokes about my sloppy Russian though nn

Well I was ****ing everything up, I was mixing the words up all the time, I'd use some italian in my french class and then get confused when the teacher didn't understand me

I wish I could learn Spanish but I can't do the rolled r sound.

I'm debating whether to actually try to learn Korean, like apart from understanding idols it seems like too much effort for not much gain personally.
