She's been contradictory when it comes to the number of albums.
She's said she wanted to do just 5 (4, then a kid, then the final album) even though she's contracted for 5.

She wouldn't have to 'run her career into the ground', a lot of the other female rappers have kind of gone off the rails (which is the reason for their current mediocre music) and I don't see Nicki doing that. I can imagine the 6th album being her last properly released one (with proper singles and a tour) but I find it hard to imagine she'd stop releasing music forever.

A lot of the problems aren't due to her team, they're due to Nicki having so much control.
It's a blessing and a curse because whilst it's great she's in charge of her career, she doesn't always think things through.

what are yall getting at? the music was great and TPP is her best body of work to date. thats ALL that matters.... the era was very successful, from the minute she was dropping those remixes late 2013, to lookin ass, all the way thru the end of 2015. she ran the rap game and made sure the nay-sayers who thought she was pop and had no bars and was a sell out ate their words. you barbz who came in after superbass or starships who only look at numbers and dont know how rap/hip-hop works really gotta go. TPP era was not a mess.

there's sexism in the hip hop community which is the main idea of her retiring rapping and what I meant by running her career into the ground.

We don't know how her acting career will turn out, we've yet to see her in a serious role.

I know it sounds lowkey sad but I just can't imagine my life without new music from her.
I mean, she's been releasing (and will continue to release) throughout what are kind of the most formative years of my life. I started stanning her when I was 9, so it's just kind of hard to imagine my life without her eras.

I know what you mean I guess, but it's not like she has any other people you can compare her career trajectory to. Most female rappers have stopped releasing for other reasons, not because they don't want to anymore.

TPP era was a mess. Idk how you could think otherwise.

I'm not talking about the remixes/hype tracks because they were executed perfectly.
It was the official singles which were released badly. If she'd waited until the album was finished before releasing official singles, there'd have been less of an issue. PNP & BOL were terrible pre-album single choices and had a negative impact on the era's success.

I agree all that really matters is the music though.

I mean Missy blames her eye ******* stuff, but lbr she's still writes choruses and hooks for people

and Kim has her debt issues

With messy single releases & push backs. PnP was a let down, Anaconda was a success but failed to sell the album & BOL was a waste. TNISY flopped, FM wasn't pushed & she ignored TB.

The era was a mess, accept it.

First and foremost, i'm a Nicki stan.
TPP era was more successful than the Dangerous Woman era will be.
I never even mentioned Ari or came for Nicki so I don't know why you're getting angry.

Everything I say comes from a place of love for Nicki, I just want the best of her.
I'm adamant that the album could have sold a lot better had the era been managed better.
