There's nothing to survive. Madonna's debut album is the third best in her discography and one of the greatest albums of all time. Borderline also being her third best single. Better than every song on She's So Unusual (except Time After Time).

No offense but True Blue has some of the greatest pop singles of all time... if y'all hate that, then I really don't know what you're looking for. ArtisticGrowthdonna in the 90s has great albums but the singles are nowhere near as strong as the 80s albums (the ones that have her only known hits).

And then Music was okay, a little bit of rehash of Ray of Light but it is fun and good. American Life sucks, best to always skip that one. Confessions is fun but not as good as Ray of Light or Music. Hard Candy is very modern and catchy and gets a lot of undue hatred. MDNÉ sucks and Rebel Heart is a collection of amazing demos with strong melodies that never got the chance to be mastered.

Madonna's 80s albums aren't bad they're just soooo 80s so they sound dated af but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. True Blue does have amazing singles and some of her best gems are from her 80s albums.
