I think the backing track is to preserve her voice. I'm sure she is long since tired of having a sore throat and all that. Plus these new pop songs have so much layering that it takes like 4-5 vocal tracks to make it sound anything like the studio version.
I really wonder who lets her leave the house dressed like that. She's been wearing the worst outfits ever since about last year. I want to slap her they're so bad.
