Just came back from the gym, I hate it

bulking is 70% diet and 30% actual muscle building; weights are quite essential, though..
I have a nice lil work out for the hemstrings though

Do you guys know any foods that are good for gaining weight but are also healthy for you and don't have a lot of carbs? I've been drinking a lot of milk along with lifting these past 2 years and put on some pounds but now I feel like all those sugars and carbs on the milk ****ed and aged my face's skin. Do you guys think eating cheese would be a better option as it doesn't have a lot of sugar and carbs but still you get those nutrients and protein? Help!
Also I've been trying to eat avocados but they get over ripe so fast.

In my opinion,
calisthenics > weights > machines

Machines are the least efficient way to get stronger or put on muscle. They involve movement patterns that aren't natural and usual don't activate as many muscles at a time as barbell training.
If they're all you have, that's fine, but if you're ever serious about really developing your body you'll need to learn how to lift with a barbell.

I've been doing 16/8 now too since I was stalling in my cut for a while, and while the scale isn't moving that much still, I can still really see a lot of difference. I'm doing it combined with keto so it's a bit easier. My schedule is to eat breakfast around 7am, and try to eat dinner before 4 pm. I've tried doing breakfast at 12 and dinner before 8 but trying to make it to 12 feels like hell, and I don't really want to be chugging coffee to try to feel satiated.

Intermittent Fasting (16 hours fast/8 hours feed) after 1 week:
- Started with 84kg (185 lbs), got the weight down to 80.5kg (177 lbs), an incredible loss of 3.5kg (8 lbs).
- Got stronger at my workouts.
- It's easier to maintain than normal diets.
- There aren't really any cons.
- 100% approved.

This is normal. One side will always be stronger than the other. It can't be 2x more stronger tho.
