same here. isn't it just refreshing to see male artists step outside of the box and their comfort zone not only musically but fashion-wise and visually? Whereas w/ GGs, they're the ones that tend to be a bit samey I like my fair share tho
Seeing male popstars be a lot more cutesy and feminine instead of always trying to act cool like most Western stars is definitely a huge factor in the appeal for me I think. Like the whole they could be your friend/boyfriend marketing appeal even tho that backfires

That and always making the same music or looking the exact same zzzzzz. I agree w/ you on the friend/boyfriend marketing appeal as well. I can't believe there was a time that I detested all of this. Little did I know what I was missing out on in this genre
