1000 is a decent sample size. CNN polls are usually half of that.
Likely voters (instead of registered voters) and it being 6 months out is the problem, not the actual sample size. And also just cherry picking cute polls when there's more out there that shows the exact opposite trend

I agree that polls this far out aren't too helpful, but at the same time they show trends and we can't ignore them (no one wants to be caught flat footed like the GOP was last year when they ignored the early polls and kept saying "polls. Don't matter. Wait till the primaries, voters will get serious" )

Well the same poll done under the same conditions with a 80-20 result in Hilary's favor would actually be even more reliable because the margin of error decreases when the gap between percentages increases. So basically you'd be wrong to do so.

In the end, Sanders has the 'socialist/communist' tag that can be used against him while Clinton has quite a few skeletons in her closet and I still think the former would be more easily accepted by voters than the latter.

Yeah but at this point it's still more-than-average politically engaged people if not fan-base people who are voting. 10 million votes is still only a seventh of what Obama got in 2008,

He would fumble through his answers. Then Hillary would answer eloquently and deliberately . Then Bernie would just repeat whatever she said and try to get audience aplause by just saying it louder. so cringeworthy
Literally this. I was so pro-Hillary until I heard Bernie speak. He makes Hillary look like a republican. If America wants any chance of beating Trump in the election Bernie needs to be our candidate.
