Yeah I really don't get the argument against closed primaries. If you aren't a member of a party, why should you get a say in who that party decides to elect?

Because the two parties have a stranglehold on who can be elected president, and it gives all Americans more of a voice

We all need to be very clear in noting that the primaries and caucuses are a PARTY electing its nominee to present on a national stage for election. This is about the Democrats as a party.

You get a voice in the GE. If you're not a member of the party, you are not entitled to have a say in what that party does. It's not that ****ing complicated. This is about the party. Not about the election for a public office position.

95% of independents are snobs who think they're ~enlightened~ for not being part of a party but are, in reality, just as partisan as those who belong to a party.

Like I said before, I have no respect for anyone who feels entitled to control the affairs of an entity they hate. The rules for these primaries are available for everyone to see.

CNN is dragging him for this right now. When he loses his naive supporters are going for the "it's rigged!", "Wall street wants Hillary!" argument and are going to turn even more against their own democratic party when in reality she won the nomination in a fair election.
