ex-Pussycat Doll "J" Jessica Sutta has been making her solo splash on the dance-pop charts as early as 2007, featuring on major DJ's tracks "Make It Last" with Dave Audé, giving J her first solo #1 on the US Billboard Dance Charts, following up with "White Lies" with Paul van Dyk, peaking at #3 on the same chart.
Jessica's solo endeavors took a brief hiatus for her commitment to the Pussycat Dolls' second studio album and worldwide tour. After being ousted from PCD in 2010 for breaking a rib in midst of their tour, Jessica decided it was time for her time to fully commit to her solo career. In 2011, Jessica signed a deal with Hollywood Records and released her single "Show Me", giving J her second solo #1 on the Billboard Dance Chart with plans to release a solo album "SuttaPop" in 2012.
The relationship with Hollywood Records was short lived however. In 2013, Jessica announced the two had split, leaving "SuttaPop" and all other tracks to be shelved, but that didn't stop Jessica from releasing music, quickly moving to "Citrusonic Stereophonic" for a few singles (Again and Lights Out, both respectively peaking in the Top 5 of the Billboard Dance Charts as well). While making appearances on other artist's albums, Jessica continued to work on creating her image, finding her sound, and essentially making her brand.
At the end of 2014, Jessica released promo single "Candy" under another new, independent label "Premier League". It was on this label Jessica found her current home and has been releasing singles on said label since. It was then Jessica announced a new title for the new set of songs (album) she was working on entitled "Feline Resurrection". Making way into 2015, Jessica found herself collaborating again with friend and producer Dave Audé, giving herself her third solo #1.
2015 was a major shift in change for Jessica. While releasing many promo singles, Jessica decided to change her stage name to "J Sutta". Explaining the change, Jessica stated that J was a nick-name people already called her and she felt it would be a better representation of the image she is portraying. With the release of the video of "Feline Resurrection", J explains her story of being oppressed by former band-mates while hitting rock bottom, making way for her to become her own, strong, confident person.
With the new moniker J Sutta under her belt, J released "Forever", the single intended to lead the album "Feline Resurrection". However after the instant interest and low-key success of "Forever", producer Rico Love requested to go back into the studio with her to record more tracks for her debut album. "Feline Resurrection" as we knew it as fans became what J is calling a "free mix-tape for her fans" that she is progressively releasing tracks that she loves that would've been on said album but aren't making it to the new album. J has decided to re-name her album "I Say YES!" and plans to release the album with a new single "When A Girl Loves A Boy" featuring Pitbull this summer (2016). This thread is designed for J's fans to come together and discuss her music (past and present) and everything in regards to her career.
She follows me too . She's an incredibly sweet person. She DM'ed me to thank me for buying one of her shirts. I told her about ATRL and how I made this thread (media kit) for her to help spread her brand so hopefully she sees us!

We need to help keep Forever alive on radio guys! Request, send the link to the music video to every Top 40 or Rhythmic station you can think of on Twitter!!!
have you guys listened to Rain snippet? this is soooo what I asked for! I Say Yes is gonna slay my life. Can I name it for the best album of the year already? My hopes are so up for this. As I said before, I like the FR material but when she does dance music... she lights up my fire!
