Should I get Pokemon X/Y? I'll definitely get Sun/Moon when it releases this November, but I'm thinking that I should get X to get me reacquainted with the series. I really didn't like the ORAS demo.. The world felt rigid, like it was all completely a grid. It's a remake of a GBA game so I get it,. Is XY like that? Or is it more free and natural?

Basically, is it worth $35~? Or should I just wait for Moon?

The icons had numbers tho. Grass was 1 and Flying 2. Fire was 3 and Ground 4. Water was 5 and Fighting 6

Litten: Fire --> Fire
Popplio: Water --> Water / Fighting

Litten will either retain its pure Fire typing or become Fire/Rock or Fire/Poison due to the Brimstone element & the volcano-influence of the region. I'd prefer it to stay a pure fire type though.

Howlett will remain Grass/Flying.

Popplio, Water/Fairy, due to the whimsical nature of clowns. It's Pokedex description states specifically that it doesn't do well on land - so I doubt they'd give it a Fighting type - which are normally agile.

I don't think the "icons" mean anything.

Why would they upload and numerate them then? Also the description says it isn't as fast on land as it is in the water not that it is slow, it's actually agile due to tricks. And the pose it does is reminicent of a strong man

Also the description is for Popplio and not it's evolution. It could easily become more land-based as it evolves; especially if it's going to be mained in the anime.

Imo X/Y were pretty bad, but I really enjoyed AS. However, I think you should definitely start playing X/Y if you want to get into the games, and $35 isn't that bad imo.

LMFAO Popplio ain't never been a Water/Fighting type.

If Samurott wasn't one then this thing isn't either, the only one that has a fighting element in their dex entry is Rowlet. Let's not forget that Rowlet can come from Rowdy + Owlet.

Popplio is remaining a water type or going for Water + Ice/Fairy.
