Even if Charizard isn't dragon type it is without question a european dragon (just like Gyarados is a dragon without dragon typing). Even Charizard's jap. name is a combo of Laizard and Dragon. It was obviously not made dragon type considering how much of an advantage it would have over the 2 starters.

Anyway 3 fire starters fit the zodiac, 2 don't really unless you reach a bit (cr. Jessie Mulay) and Litten might work.

Charizard is not a dragon cause dragons were OP AF in gen 1 and it would be unfair

i was at a job interview and they talked about pokemon go and then they said they are too old for pokemon so they dont care for it anymore. they were younger than me.

Not really? It'd still get ****ed by Rock Slide, and now would actually get ****ed by Earthquake too; which it originally wouldn't.

Pokemon Go looks tragic though. I was really openminded to it at first, but it just looks horrible now

The zodiac thing wasn't even a thing until the fourth Gen, with infernape being inspired by the monkey king, all of a sudden bored poketubers reach for some conspiracy over it. Coincidentally gen five getting a pig, such a common animal, and everyone just leaps to conclusion that their theory is confirmed. Gamefreak will continue to do their own thing and poketubers will just continue to reach to fit their own little theory.

Besides, if you really want to categories your animals by class or sub order, lizards are a lot closer to snakes than imaginary dragons

Which should I play? I already bred a new team on my other game for it, so the Pokemon in the game doesn't matter to me.

I'm playing through Y right now (first time through Kalos since X in 2013) with a team I bred and I'm really enjoying it, minus the annoying rivals I'm having fun with the playthrough, moreso than I think I would with a playthrough in Hoenn again after playing through it so many times in 3rd gen and the last time in 6th gen.
