It doesn't make any sense for her to consider him as VP until he voices support of her campaign. Until that takes place, it makes absolutely no sense for her to pursue him as a VP option. I'm sure she's floated the idea, but as long as he's still running to be the nominee and is running against her, she has no reason to consider him.
Hopefully, this is wrapped up soon. I would feel safe if she picked him for VP, but he needs to voice his support to start to transition his base over. I think if it was randomly announced that he's her VP right now, there would be more of a sense of betrayal among his base. I'm not entirely sure, but I can only guess.
