What if the "region" pic we got is just one island of several?

I mean, it looks rather small for a whole region as it is, and Hawaii irl isn't quite as large as Japan so they could theoretically make it an island region with a ferry of some sort to the others.

Am hoping they pull a reverse Gen 6 tea with the legendary trio and make the last one the obvious best.

They look rather fine in the artworks, but a bit overdesigned and messy in the models, imo.

Yeah, we already discussed the option there will be 8 islands, so the 8 large islands of Hawaii, for 8 gyms

If you look at the map you literally see all the individual buildings, so there are no towns etc, that can't be the entire region... Or we are only getting a small expansion with a couple of more Pokemon, like 30 or something
