Detox's facial expressions during this were cracking me up even if Jinkx was slaying her overall. Jinkx just totally matched the wackiness of this song with her whole body.

By far the weirdest lip sync song ever, but I ain't mad about it. It is fun and campy and fits the show perfectly. Also the first song of the rate to get a 7 or above.

Anyway, am so glad this song made it this far, by far one of my fave lip-sync songs and one of my favourite Drag Race discoveries.

This song and Gopher Mambo are the two highlights from the album. But the whole thing is a good listening for background music (I mean this as no shade too)

The only song on the show to be used in a LSFYL twice. The only song Ru has released to ever feature a RPDR alumni (Bebe Zahara Benet on the remix). Well unless we count the Laganja and TKB cameos on Butch Queen. Also the song most associated with the show seeing as it has been in every episode thanks to it being Ru's runway walk music. Like I've heard this song so much that I'm not even sure if I have an opinion about it.

Bebe and Nina served one of the all time best lip syncs to this song in the season 1 finale. They were both high energy and the best part was them playing off each other and exhibiting their friendship through the performance. Truly the best top 2 in the history of the show.

Then Shangela versus Sahara in season 2 was the first true acrobatic dance heavy lip sync. Those two were truly battling but in an entertaining way not a Shangela versus Venus way. Also props to Shangela for the first death drop on the show.

People either love this or hate this lip sync, but I love it and it's one of my top 10 from the show.

A great lip sync from both Kandy and Kasha. MKD started out strong but then lost some steam and visibly missed a few words towards the end. Kandy was a slow build and then really slayed it at the end even though she was in a challenging dress to perform in.

The only song from season 7 I would call a "discovery". This song is actually really incredible. It has everything I love about 80s music in it, but then it also has incredible vocals from Teena Marie (which is something a lot of 80s songs are lacking). The way she rips into those syllables on 'crying' is just amazing.



And condragulations to Teena Marie for being the winner of season 7!

Jessica looked like she was gonna give her self whip lash this whole lip sync (although whenever I hear this song I always do her moves). Tatianna was serving "Bambi sexuality" with her gangly ass legs going in random directions. I do think Tati won, but at the end she also exhibited her main problem that season which was a lack of confidence.

A stunning disco song and CHIC at their finest production wise. I knew "We Are Family", but this helped me get into the rest of Sister Sledge's music so I am very thankful for that.

The last great final 2 lip sync. If Tyra hadn't won already, then this lip sync certainly got her the crown. That is how you do it people. You don't lip sync the whole season and then you turn it for the final. I usually hate when the queens go over to the judges table, but it just felt right for Tyra and really exhibited her nerve in general.

I don't think I can fairly rate the song because I just love Season 2 so much that the nostalgia is really there when I here this. I will say if I rate it against Ru's music it doesn't hold up well.
