Stitches is around 49-50 weeks, but it's also close to being out, as it's currently in the 40s region.

TQ would've gotten 2 more as it fell 32-39 in W52. SUAD would've probably gotten 4 more wks and TOL would've charted 2-3 more wks as both were falling slower than TQ. SYA dropped 44-49 in W52, so it could've fallen out anyway. If we based the list upon just T40 wks, UF & SUAD would be affected the most. The latter more than the former since SUAD took a while to reach the T40. That's why I want to see how this looks relying solely on when the song was actually a T40 "hit."

Scream & Shout's chart run:
12-13-15-12-12-8-6-6-5-3-3-4-5-7-8-8-11-16-18-28-34-37-37-42
Weeks in top 10: 11
Weeks in top 100: 24
I'm sure it just narrowly missed the list?

Hmmm...I'll do some adding and see what the point total is just on T 40 weeks. 89+88+86+89+89+93+95+95+96+98+101+97+96+94+93+93+9 0+85+83+73+67+63+63=2,017.
I took an inverse point method for each week in the Top 40 and added 3 points for the second week at #2 (and any successive weeks that could've followed). For #2 I'd add 5 points each successive week, and for #1 I'd add 10 successive week. BB adds points for each successive week at #1, I'm almost certain about #2 (TOL v. TQ), and I'm pretty sure about #3. Without the extra points at #3 S&S gets 2,014.

If anyone has any other songs let me know. I'll try to make it where I don't have to do the math in my head next time lol.

It spent two weeks at #3 so would that be another 101 points?
Thank you for your help

Billboard's ranking system differs from your's, because Stay would've definitely made the list if Rude Boy and Diamonds did. (Billboard ranked it as her 3rd biggest hit after We Found Love and The Monster). Also, according to Billboard, The Monster was a bigger hit than Love the Way You Lie.

I want to see how much the difference is relying on only T40 weeks. The other Rihanna songs were hurt due to lack of longevity, and ironically enough the longevity for WFL near the top is why it finished so high on the list. So this worked both ways for her.

what about "Habits" by Tove Lo? It peaked at #3 with 10 weeks in the top 10, 39 weeks overall (logging a bunch in the top 20/top 40). I would've expected to at least see it make an appearance on the lower portion of the chart.

What about Born This Way? Was it such a flop?

Love The Way You Lie was clearly the bigger hit, and this countdown supports that. That's why I'm working to do the inverse point system just sticking to the time in the Top 40.

No longevity at all, sadly. It's probably the longest running #1 of this decade not on the Hot 100.

ARTP0P I'm adding that song to the list I'm sending you you and I-Hype for chart runs. I didn't devise this formula. Billboard did and Mark Oswalt updates the chart periodically. I'm just trying to cut out the weeks from where the songs weren't really hits yet (or bounced around 41-50 which Uptown Funk and other 25/52 victims weren't allowed to do.

This isn't "my" ranking system either. This is an inverse-point system devised by BB and reported by Mark Oswalt. I wish I had time to make one of these videos as often as he does, but I don't lol!

PRA should place in the Top 3 for the 2010s, as it's one of the very few songs to get one year in the Top 40, AND it spent over 1/2 year in the T 10. It'll probably still be #2, 3 at the lowest.

Please if you've watched this and see songs missed you think should be in the 2010s Hot 100 (to date), please list them here! I'm putting the Hot 100 onto a list right now, so add the songs you think this video neglected to mention. I'm putting Born This Way in here too since I think its run was slightly better than Harlem Shake (though it obviously pales in streaming performance).

Here is the system I will use: A reverse point scale where 40=1 point and 1=40 points. For each additional week at #1 I will add 5 points (40, 45, 50, 55.....), each additional week at #2 3 points (39, 42, 45, 48.....), each additional week at #3 2 points (38, 40, 42, 44....), each additional week at #4 1 point (37, 38, 39, 40.....) and 1/2 point for each additional week at #5 (36, 36.5, 37, 37.5) IHype has given me the chart runs for all but one of the songs in the Top 50 of the list, and will give me the rest tomorrow. If you can think of any other songs that you think are close, PLEASE let me know! Thanks!
