This doesn't surprise me. Here in Georgia of course I have some republican friends(who are big about voting) but even they say they despise Trump and can't imagine voting for him. They equally despise Clinton but when most of them are fiscally conservative and socially not I can only imagine how they'll actually vote. I'd say Georgia is definitely up for grabs
Question: why did Indiana go for Obama in 2008? It seems like a solidly red state.
Indiana's economic recovery was nonexistent and they were ready for change. Huge democratic turnout plus a good amount of independents gave it to Obama by .1%.
If Trump doesn't start doing damage control and having concrete plans and continues to talk about Monica Lewinsky, Hillary will have a blowout. It'll be a 1964, 1972, 1980, or 1984 situation. I'm ready.
Texas going to a democrat would be ICONIC and an event that goes down in a history. What a perfect representation for the collapse of the Republican Party.
My (highly optimistic) predictions on how the senate race will go:
NC: Burr v. Ross
NY: Long v. Schumer
CA: Sanchez v. Harris
WI: Johnson v. Feingold
NH: Ayotte v. Hassan
AZ: McCain v. Kirkpatrick
MS: Blunt v. Kander
OH: Portman v. Strickland
If Ayotte wins over Hassan I'm immigrating to Jordan
