Apart from Along The Coast (which we're supposedly getting with F2 anyway) and TBBB + it's flawless video (her best clip since Yung Rapunxel), I haven't really used much of this era.

UTBA needs a completely different instrumental. Riot and QOC are cute but unfinished demos that need better beats, lyric changes. The rest can rot with F.L.A.P.S.

I agree it's not as good as her previous releases but I'm still glad we got it. I think Fantasea has a lot of filler and doesn't hold up as well as people say. Riot, Skylar Diggins and Big Talk I haven't played much. Can't Do It Like Me is decent, I use that.

Used To Being Alone had amazing potential but the beat in the chorus is too aggressive and her vocals are a little much. Would've worked better as a IIO/Nadia Ali style trance ballad. The transition from the pre-chorus to the chorus is messy to. That really heavy bass she put on it then nothing, could've done with another verse and just overall better structure. I'm kinda hoping that the fan who remastered and extended the demo does something with it because that was great.

Queen of Clubs I use as a faceless song but again it's half baked. There's that bit where she sings "Give me that givenchy I'm thuggin it URHGHHG" and it randomly cuts out

TBBB + Along The Coast are the two best from the mixtape and up there with some of her best stuff.

Although when I first heard the "Everytime I step in the club" part of QoC I lit-er-aly felt my soul leave my body. And how she sings that last line, whew lawd.

I think people are suddenly being too hard on this but I think if Slay - Z were just a short good top to bottom official EP like 1991 with a different name it would've been perfect.

Like this EP would've been perfect and praised almost as much as 1991 (which imo was perfect from start to finish), and then give us the next Fantasy mixtape later in the year and release her second album 2017 when she hopefully has a full label and team to push it.
