Welcome castaways to your 4th results show! Below will be the rates of each entry from all four judges. You were all rated on a scale of 1 to 10. Your average score will be combined into a tribe average which will determine which tribe is losing a member,

After I reveal the scores, I will post the final results which will include how you ranked on your tribe, against all castaways, and finally the overall tribe rankings this round.

The lowest averaging tribe will be headed to Tribal Council where they will vote off one member who will become the first eliminated player of the season.

Tribe Maji Maji

1. Navyofbadgals - The Bee Gees - First Of May

Dylan - 8.5 - Aw, this is sad. It looks like the end of their relationship is nearing but they'll always have love for each other regardless because of how their love bloomed over childhood. Nice choice.

Brian - 10 - Great choice.. very nostalgic with a cute childhood love theme :’(

Yvess - 8 - AWWW. This song is truly nostalgic. I feel that this is a good song for my father to listen to. The lyrics aren't that emotional but the song's vibe got me reflecting on my younger years.

Element – 8.5 – I think this is a rather simplistic but effective entry.

2. URBAN - Mary J. Bilge - Reflections (I Remember)

Dylan - 6.5 - This seems to be more about her pre-fame days than it does childhood, per se. There's no real reference to childhood besides saying her and Puff were 'kids" which I don't think is a reference to Mary literally being a child rather than just younger. With a lot of songs directly referencing childhood play, this needed more to compete. Nostalgic for sure but not in the way this round intended.

Brian - 7.5 - It doesn’t scream nostalgia on childhood memories like the other songs do, but more at Mary looking back at her struggles before fame. Good job though.

Yvess - 7.5 - I get that the lyrics are about remembering her past but Ilm not so sure if I can feel the nostalgic vibe from this. Mary J. Blige is a great vocalist but there's something missing here.

Element – 9 – Great choice! The atmosphere does not really contribute to a nostalgic theme, in my opinion, but the lyrics are on point.

3. wesleywalrus - Nirvana - Silver

Dylan - 6 - This one is weird because it's definitely looking back on childhood, but it's not necessarily doing so in nostalgic way. He seems miserable. These aren't the bittersweet memories associated with nostalgia that I wanted this round. They're just bitter. I doubt the singer is missing these days.

Brian - 7 - It’s looking back at a moment in his childhood, so good job there, but it does not convey nostalgia and also doesn’t have lyrical depth like some other entries.

Yvess - 8 - I feel that this song is a great choice by looking at the lyrics but something kinda made me dislike it a bit, not really dislike but I felt that it's too short.

Element – 7 – I think the lyrics are fair enough, but there is really no emotional, nostalgic connection here. It’s more of a narration than anything else.

4. prezli - Kenny Chesney - Young

Dylan - 9 - I actually know this song since my other family members listen to far too much of this genre. Country music was definitely a favorite for this round but I can't blame you guys. There's a lot of country songs related to looking back on childhood. Another on-point entry from you.

Brian - 9 - Not as emotional as other entries, but he’s looking back at his childhood with nostalgia, so great job.

Yvess - 9 - Ugh. I HATE COUNTRY sometimes and this song is not my cup of tea but I just can't give you a low score for that. The chorus is cute and I am singing it actually right now.

Element – 9.5 – Very good! I think it has a great amount of reflection on past experiences, and the more positive atmosphere is cool.

5. Vulnicura - St. Vincent - Teenage Talk

Dylan - 9.5 - I rather like this one. It's really cute and the lyrics are simple yet meaningful all in one. It's definitely an ode to old times so good job.

Brian - 8 - Good choice, but it doesn’t have as much lyrical depth as other entries.

Yvess - 10 - THANK YOU FOR SENDING THIS SONG! I am not really keen on knowing about St. Vincent's brand of music so this is actually the first song I truly listened to in full depth. I like the vibe and the lyrics. Very much fitting with the theme

Element – 8.5 – Good selection, but at the same time, her delivery doesn’t really present nostalgia to me.

6. Lucky#17 - Matt Taylor - I Remember When I Was Young

Dylan - 8 - This is a solid choice for the round. It's just not as warming of fuzzy feeling as some of the other tracks that just grab you more than this one. Still, a good choice though.

Brian - 8.5 - Good choice! Reflecting on his childhood, but it doesn’t seem as nostalgic and sentimental as the other choices.

Yvess - 9.5 - I love this song and I can say that this encapsulates the theme's requirement. Good voice that makes me feel nostalgic.

Element – 9 – A pretty good choice! I do get a sense of nostalgia from him, as he specifically discusses looking back at these moments often, so clearly there is an emotional attachment.

7. thecptz - Avril Lavigne - 17

Dylan - 9.5 - I'm surprised this wasn't sent in more considering it's one of few songs by a pop girl that fit this round. I've always found this song very cute and sentimental in a nostalgic manner. There's something about Avril's writing that always managed to be just simple enough to mean everything. Great choice.

Brian - 9.5 - Not as sentimental as some other choices but other than that great job.

Yvess - 10 - First of all, this is not bias scoring. 17 is the perfect fit for this theme. I would have sent 17 if I'm playing this season. The storytelling in this song is brilliant and captures that perfect story of adolescence we would like to go back to. GRATS!

Element – 10 – Perfect choice in my opinion! She discusses how “hearing a song takes her back” and her reflection creates nostalgia and longing in the present. Bravo.

8. Scene. - Rodney Atkins - Growing Up Like That

Dylan - 9 - Really cute, actually. Now let me go ahead and listen to the other country bumpkin songs. Nice choice, Scene.

Brian - 10 - Amazing entry! Nostalgia about his childhood and how his life was growing up.

Yvess - 8 - I never heard this guy but Im sure you were able to choose a decent song for this round. The chorus part is interesting and made me convinced that this song is a great fit.

Element – 10 – Another great entry from this tribe. I love the little vignettes that he sings about in his reflection of childhood, as well as discussing the lessons that he learned.

Tribe Sahrondo

1. gotintoririfever1 - Adele - Hometown Glory

Dylan - 8 - This reminds me of Photograph in the sense Adele seems to be headed off somewhere. Only issue is that unlike Photograph, it doesn't directly mention some of her favorite memories which would have made this a great entry rather than just good.

Brian - 8 - I like it! Not as lyrically about childhood nostalgia as other entries but good job.

Yvess - 8.5 - Adele's voice is a huge part in making me feel nostalgic about this choice, her voice is emotional and it made the song more appealing although it's not really exactly depicted the memories she wants to go back or reminisce.

Element – 8 – I am very torn about this choice. It definitely captures the feeling of emotional reflection through its atmosphere and instrumental. But while she sings about memories, they don’t really become specific.

2. Remmy - Kid Rock - All Summer Long

Dylan - 9.5 - I've always loved this song but besides that, it's a very nice fit for this round. No, it's not tear inducing but it still manages to be sentimental in a more positive sense due to the vibe of this track feeling so homegrown. Really nice choice.

Brian - 9.5 - Great entry! Not as sad and slow as other choices but definitely great lyrics about looking back at his childhood.

Yvess - 9 - COOL song choice because I didn't see this one coming. The hook is catchy and it sums up what this round is looking for.

Element – 10 – Great selection that discusses various memories and imparts the narrator’s nostalgia to the listener!

3. theREALslimSHADY - Bryan Adams - Summer Of '69

Dylan - 9.5 - Haha, yeah... you had no reason to worry. I considered this as an example at some point before deciding to let one of you do the throwback so thank you for sending this. Probably your strongest entry.

Brian - 9 - A bittersweet reflection on his childhood. Not as sentimental as other entries, but great job!

Yvess - 10 - You'' never go wrong with Bryan Adams! I love this song as this is part of my dad's playlist in his car when I was a young boy. The perfect choice so far in my opinion.

Element – 10 – Fantastic entry! I love how he looks back at these times and specifically identifies them as the “best days of his life”.

4. rl231 - Miranda Lambert - The House That Built Me

Dylan - 10 - This was going to be my example but I didn't want to hint ANY further how many country songs fit this round. Nothing more to say but congrats on your first 10 from me this season.

Brian - 10 - PERFECT entry!! Awesome job.

Yvess - 9 - Oh boy. I love this song choice. We all have that song we feel that describes our childhood and I think this is one of those songs that I can relate to.

Element – 10 – Wow, you guys are slaying this round. This is a beautiful song – extremely nostalgic, filled with specific memories, and it even discusses how she wants to rediscover herself so that definitely brings the feels we were looking for!

5. Bloomers - Twenty One Pilots - Stressed Out

Dylan - 9 - Lyrically, this is really good. I actually never even thought of this song working but it totally does. Only very minor issue is this isn't necessarily one of those songs that gets you feeling all warm and stuff. You know?

Brian - 9.5 - Great entry! I think this round was calling for a little more slower and emotional songs but other than that it’s spot-on lyrically. Good job!

Yvess - 10 - Yes bloombae! PERFECT SONG CHOICE! The chorus is totally what I feel when I want to go back to my innocent days.

Element – 10 – Another perfect entry from Slayrondo. This track is the current go-to for nostalgia, and I think it has a perfect balance of memories and yearning for childhood during a tumultuous present. Great!

Tribe Kayntaya

1. Xedretinz Lododnz - Owl City feat. Hanson - Unbelievable

Dylan - 9 - Not Hanson. Lmao. This is perfect lyrically but the production doesn't have as much sentimental value as the lyrics do. Nice choice though.

Brian - 9 - Awesome choice! Very reflective on his childhood, what’s stopping me from giving it a 10 is that it isn’t as sentimental as other entries.

Yvess - 10 - This is a cute bop but it made me feel emotional knowing that the lyrics is a huge reflection of my childhood. I think this is a great fit for this round and there's no doubt it is a cool song from Owl City and Hanson in years

Element – 10 – This was such a great reflection of the 1990s omg I’m getting a bit nostalgic myself. I also love how Hanson was the featured artist to capture that “memory lane” feeling.

2. holyground - Taylor Swift - The Best Day

Dylan - 9.5 - This one has a very sentimental production in its own simplicity. Lyrically, it's a cute ode to her childhood/mother and it definitely has a heartwarming feel to it. Your best entry so far.

Brian - 9.5 - Great entry! Emotional and nostalgic. What’s stopping me from giving it a 10 is that at some points in the song she talks about negative memories in her childhood.

Yvess - 8 - Cute song from the younger Swift that I used to like before. Her voice is pure in here so it contributes to my idea of nostalgic song.

Element – 10 – A great look back through Taylor’s childhood, marked with a reflective atmosphere and lessons learned.

3. Sebas - Stevie Wonder - I Wish

Dylan - 9.5 - Why didn't I realize I know this song? It's not tear worthy but the production does have a very positive feeling that makes one really wish those days were back. Another great entry from you.

Brian - 9.5 - Nice entry! Not as emotional and sentimental as other entries but lyrically great. Good job as always.

Yvess - 9.5 - OH YAAAAAS. Serve us some legendary music! I like this song choice coz it is a solid one and it doesn't make me think if its nostalgic or not. The lyrics is straight to the point.

Element – 10 – A strong entry that looks back at the past and captures his feelings of nostalgia with specific memories.

4. Tom Vercetti - 2Pac - Dear Mama

Dylan - 8 - His mom died today you witch! Yes, he's looking back on childhood and I love how personal the lyrics are. However, I think he misses his mother's nurture back in his childhood days than he does the actual childhood. It seems pretty tough after all. Still, this is definitely an ode to an aspect of his childhood.

Brian - 9 - One of the best songs of all time! The fact that his mother died today is kind of eerie.. He’s definitely reminiscing on the past, but the song is more about his mother than a nostalgic reflection his childhood. It is one of the songs, if not the song, that has the most depth of all the entries which is why it’s getting a high score from me. Good job as usual!

Yvess - 9 - Not the typical song selection I imagined to see this round and it surprisingly worked well. I love that he regrets the beef he had with his mama. 2pac is somehow giving me some emotional teas in this song.

Element – 8 – There are definitely some nostalgic parts here, but I feel like this is more of a tribute to his mother (RIP) than anything else.

5. Satan - Loggins and Messina - When I Was A Child

Dylan - 8.5 - Actually very cute. Just not as interesting lyrically as others though obviously it's a good entry.

Brian - 9 - Good entry! However at some points it is more about his father than a reflection of his childhood.

Yvess - 10 - I like the lyrics from this song, the way they stitched together the craziness of their childhood and how they somehow regretted their choices. Well, that's life, we odn't know what we are really doing when we were young.

Element – 9 – Really strong! I wish the memories were a little more specific though.

6. Speezy - Luther Vandross - Dance With My Father

Dylan - 8.5 - This one is a little too focused on his father than his childhood memories but I think parents are very important in the molding of one's childhood so it still works. Just not as strong as some other entries here though probably the most emotional of the bunch which propels you forward a bit.

Brian - 9.5 - Definitely a nostalgic look at childhood, however it is more about his father than his childhood like other entries. But it is an absolutely beautiful song and probably the most emotion-tugging of the entries, so great job again.

Yvess - 10 - This hit me hard. For someone who values his family so much, i think this song is great in a lot of ways. The emotional impact of this song never gets old to me and it is still one of the best songs about longing for a loved one tbh.

Element – 8.5 – It starts with a great introduction of nostalgia, but ultimately as the song progresses, it becomes more of a tribute to his father.

7. Mirrorwriting - Miranda Lambert - Automatic

Dylan - 7.5 - This one is just decent for me and it also was your third choice so I don't think you thought it was great either. Miranda is longing for the past but with so many songs referring very specifically to childhood, implication can only get you so far. Still, fine pick.

Brian - 8 - Although it is implied, it’s not as explicitly about childhood memories as other entries. Good job though!

Yvess - 9 - I like the lyrics coz it makes us realize that not every technology advancement we have right now is far superior to us. Sometimes it is much better that we still have the oldies way of delaing with things and this songs captures that feeling of reminiscing the good old times without mocking the present world we are living in.

Element – 8 – This song definitely has touches of nostalgia and longing for the past, but I feel like it doesn’t really go deep enough in the end.
