I was a big Victorious fan so I have followed Ariana's career since the start (despite I didn't like her before lol). Yours Truly definitely felt like a bigger release for the fans.
Tattooed Heart stealing the show at the AMAs, The Way on Ellen, Scooter telling Ariana onstage that her album went #1 - the #1 was also very close that week since she was competing against Tamar Braxton, I recall there was only like 5k difference between them.
Even Baby I, the second single, sold 144k first week (which was bigger numbers than other releases that year like Work Bitch)
Ariana's fanbase seemed more infatuated by her during the Yours Truly era than now too. I feel like they're not as united and obsessed with her as they once were.
