Desperate Housewives was the most addictive series I've ever watched (casually). I never had any serious intent to follow the series when it was still airing but I was so taken in as soon as I decided to actually watch.
NEW YORK, New York— April 29, 2016 — Lemonade is the #1 album on the Billboard 200 Chart for the week of April 22, 2016 with 656,484 album project units (including 489K album sales, 908K song sales and 115.5M streams).
489k feels underwhelming considering everything.
116m Tidal streams sounds fishy.
It is. She had massive promo thanks to the cheating thing.
Drake is all style no substance. His inability to deliver a great rap album from start to finish is revealing of his limitations. 26 Grammy nominations and only one win, one award from Katy Perry level. Definitely the male Rihanna (also sucks compared to Rap Beyoncé aka Kendrick).
I guess I'll stick to the 6 I gave it after first listen. One half is really good but got old very quickly (Hold Up, Freedom, All Night, Formation) and the other half is either bad or boring (Sorry, Sandcastles, DHY). Love Drought & 6 Inch probably occupy the rest of the trinity for now.
This is*Canadian superstar rapper Drake's oeuvre, moody beats offering introspection without insight. From a middle class college background, he has a lexicon of psychological buzzwords, “epiphany”, “empathy”, “realisation”, “redemption” and an obsession with his own hidden depths:*“thoughts too deep to go work them out with a therapist” , as he proclaims on the title track.
