I made a "Daddy better make me chock" joke today and then realized that ATRL is the only place where there is any crossover between CupcakKe fans and people who followed the end of Rubio's campaign
Damn. But this won't mathematically be sealed until June 7th, ugh.
It's practically mathematically sealed. Bernie could win 100% of the delegates leading to California, and Hillary just needs to win a little less than 50% of CA's delegates to seal the nomination. It's over.
Hopefully, Bernie Bros will retire that "Bernie or Bust" idea. A good number have claimed they will write in Bernie's name during the general election to make a "statement" (that they're privileged and can afford a Trump presidency).
Is there a way to see how Hillary's popular vote compares to the popular votes of other Republican candidates? The source I have only compares it to Bernie's popular vote.
shes always saying that she has over 1 million more votes than Donald. im sure its around that give or take a few.
Bernie is over but this election season was just the start of the growing progressive movement. Im fairly certain that we will have a progressive president in our next contested election. But for now we get to have a female president!
I might go to one of the Bernie rallies tomorrow! Hoping to go to the 9 am one because I usually have class from 11-3 but my 11 am Spanish class which runs until 1 pm I don't have to go to since both classes this week are the same (oral exam + review).
However I didn't realize it's a ticketed event. The other one has an RSVP but seems to just be first come first served. Should I try to go to it anyway, or should I just go to the later one?
And before anyone says to attend a Hillary rally instead, 1. She hasn't scheduled one here yet and 2. I hope to go to hers if she does schedule one in central Indiana.
