It looks like Storm is actually winning now I look at this gif, as the lightening is moving closer towards cyclops, Maybe this is when Jean grabs his head and uses her power to either focus the beam to help push back the lightening.

At some point in this scene I am going to guess that Cyclops knocks Storm out of the sky. Because we have seen them fighting on the ground.

I don't know why Storm would voluntary go to land when being in the sky is way more beneficial. So I can see Jean helping him with getting Storm on land.

As a Storm fan, what's better about this movie is it appears we didn't get all three Storm power scenes in the trailers like DOFP

Agree about Jean being kept very quiet in trailers powers-wise. I think she'll be a flop for most of the film like X1 and then something happens Scott or someone and Phoenix pops up

Well, the sex scene sets up that they'll be psychically connected, so I can definitely see her going into Phoenix mode if Cyclops is hurt in any way!
