Beyonce released her visual album on HBO... it screened for 1 hour.

I'm not saying P!nk sld do the same visual album thing, but I'd like to see something similar from her. Like a highly stylised documentary or something. She's introspective enough to do something like that

yeah, pink really needs to work on her artistry. she came really close to being established on another level in the early 2000s but then kinda backtracked. and then again with funhouse... but then backtracked again :/

not sure she should do it with a visual album, that seems to be beyoncé's shtick in regards to pop acts, but delving more into her creativity would be great--but only if it supports a worthwhile record and not some the truth about meh BS.

i would love to see linda's concept for try this come to fruition some day. she had the right ideas.

I feel you. Listening to songs like JLF I fear she has nothing else to give. It is just so weird for someone who listened to Janis and the like.

Visually, Try was amazing and artistic. And it doesn't need a million-dollar budget and it's so her.

Maybe she could do an album that has a storyline and turn it into a concert/musical kind of thing and have it be on TV. She's always been more of a performer than a visual artist anyways. Could you imagine her doing a 1 hour special where we hear the songs for the first time live, and then the album dropping that night? It would definitely be different.

oh yeah, try video >>>>>>>> pink's try cover. easily. i had this idea for an album release that probably couldn't happen, but i'll say it anyway:

an entire album that is recorded at a secret showcase. so, 13 new songs, live performed for the first time... everything recorded nicely, she goes back into the studio right after the concert while she still feels the momentum, mixes everything nicely... and a couple of days later have it released so she can still ride the buzz of that (not so secret anymore) showcase. it would be like a live surprise album, but it would be a true live album because it's not songs that were pre-released. so we'd have this amazing jam session feeling for 13 songs straight. have the booklet done and ready so you only have to print the CD a million times and then release it right after.

but yeah, that's never gonna happen...

i hope JLF is no indication of her swindling creativity. she really needs to let go of maxi pad and give gregory the boot while she's at it. they both hinder her abilities to be brilliant.

thinking back, i can totally see this happening with funhouse! the tour itself was already musical-esque. just slap a more coherent story on it and it's perfect!

I know... I'm just sad because it makes me think she doesn't like the material and the songs and some of them are very close to me

I wish she is inspired of what Beyonce has pulled out of her sleeve so far.

I want her to treat all the tracks with Music Video/Visual album. She can find her spot by exploring stuff about humanity, relationship, drugs and the like, sex, death, rebirth.

But I don't think she will go that far
