Shortly after news that iconic performer Prince had passed away, the infinitely lesser talent that is Justin Bieber posted on Instagram that Prince didn’t deserve to be called “the last greatest living performer,” as singer-songwriter Andrew Watt had dubbed him.
Watt had posted a heartfelt remembrance of his relation to Prince’s persona and music, saying he was “devastated” and calling the icon “the last greatest living performer.”
On Thursday, the 22-year-old pop brat stirred up the social sphere after leaving an insensitive comment on rocker Andrew Watt’s touching Instagram tribute to Prince, in which Watt dubbed the fallen star “the last of the greatest living performers.”
In the since-deleted comment, Bieber replied, “Well not the last greatest living performer.”
Fans of Prince and Watt did not take too kindly to Bieber’s unwarranted two cents.
Beautiful tribute, but I also don't believe he was the last. Justin was obviously implying he is great, which I also do not agree with. When someone is praised after they die, you don't try and take away from that. Justin, go to the Astrodome and have a seat in every single chair.
Deserved. Although the statement "last greatest performer" can be argued, attempting to correct someone's thoughts/feelings while they are grieving, is beyond disgusting and unnecessary. He is such a low-life.

Bieber is the last person who should be talking about performers since he isn't good at it.
When Justin eventually overdoses in an airport motel room in the next 5-8 years, there will be no center stage Broadway renditions of his songs, no tributes to the generation of artists he influenced, no outpouring of grief from other legends. There will be cable news clips of his mug shots and arrests, and mentally unstable Beliebers threatening to off themselves on Twitter.

Only legends die young. His ass will be here forever.
