She's the most commercial successful female rapper of all time. She's reached levels that none before her have reached, despite everyone trying to tear her down and discredit her.
She was able to prove that you could do pop records and still be hip hop at your core. Her success made it just a little easier for a song like Fancy to be #1.
And it doesn't matter if she doesn't have a Grammy or a #1 single. She's left a bigger mark on rap music than most of our faves could ever hope to leave on pop.

, it's either there are numerous females dominating or it's just as dead as it used to be.
Also no she isn't, both missy E and salt n pepa are far more successful despite female rap being such a tiny genre. (I think there are more successful pop/rnb black haired artists than female rappers

And yes it does, the lack of a grammy showcases that she doesn't have critical acclaim. I agree #1 singles are overrated though, but she has next to no impact on the rap genre anyways.
