Camila releasing side Pop songs is promoting herself as a solo artist to the same audience that the group is trying to cater to. She's getting more attention on her and that can cause imbalance.

Get this through your brain, honey: the other girls would never get a chance to work with Diplo at this stage of their careers. Camila did, and she would be a dumbass bitch to pass up this opportunity for what? Loyalty to the other girls who clearly she doesn't get along with? To keep some Twitter fans happy? This is a huge ass opportunity for her. Do you honestly think the other girls would get the opportunity to do a ****ing Diplo song on their own? Please.
Man, I swear y'all see the music business as ****ing high-school.

As someone who's never paid attention to Fifth Harmony aside from their 2 hits, no one in the GP is gonna notice her missing from the group (minus the obvious "shouldn't there be 5"). None of them stand out obviously like Beyoncé, Justin or even Nicole did.

Those two first songs you listed aren't Camila being solo. If I remember correctly, Dinah, Normani and Ally sing too. Kid Ink raps twice in the song.
IKWYLS was not a hit. If anything it had moderate success. iTunes peaks don't mean anything. Camilia can do anything she wants as long as it isn't released during their release week.

She's not even genuine, she's already playing up the look at me and my famous friends bit too. Her deluded few stans need to take those blinders off and see the plain obvious. I hope she tanks solo because this is just foul. FOCUS on this era and then do your thing on a hiatus. Even Beyonce was last to release a solo album out of the girls

Actually, honey, we have no idea what girls would get what chances at this point in their careers. I know of one that another girl in the group could have had (before IKWYDLS) but she declined because they agreed that they wouldn't do solo music stuff until after the group disbanded.
If she doesn't get along with the other girls, and is so ready for a solo career, she can leave. If she really wants to start doing solo stuff on the side while she's still in the group (and at a time when the group is smashing), she's got to be ready for the backlash and consequences.
And I don't know if you realize, but karma does come around in this industry.

If it caused tension because one did better than the other, then that's on them for being petty. If they all said "Yay, go you!" it wouldn't really matter in general. And anytime I hear a group's single, I certainly don't go google them to be sure all the members get along or haven't released solo music before I consider buying a group's song or album. If I like the song today, and the group breaks up tomorrow, so what? I can still like the song tomorrow. I doubt even half the people buying "7 Years" right now even bothered to check if Lukas Graham is a guy or a group. Let alone made SURE the group was getting along perfectly.
1) You're assuming that they'll all release the same types of music that competes with each other. That may not happen. 2) I can buy any of their music inside or outside the group. The GP who barely knows who is or isn't in the group anyway will buy whatever songs they like. If it turns out some is 5H music and some is just an individual member's music, oh well if they like the song.
Only an obsessive fan who follows them all on twitter and watches their every interview cares about this stuff. People just hearing a song on the radio they like and looking it up on itunes to buy? I doubt it.

This basically sums up the whole issue. She can't have her cake and eat it too. She and her stans can come up with as many rationalizations as they want, some more valid than others, but the fact is that people have an extremely valid reason to be upset at stuff like this. That doesn't mean she should just stop doing it (as many of you love to say so often, we can't control her or force her to do anything), but if she's going to continue doing something despite there being justified reasons to dislike it, she needs to accept the negative reaction it gets, and if she doesn't like that reaction, then she should leave the group.
She's not a child - she has every right to make her own choices, but as an adult, she needs to understand that choices have consequences and she needs to learn to deal with said consequences instead of constantly tweeting and mentioning in interviews how victimized she feels like she did with IKWYDLS.

Like I wouldn't have a problem with this if they were all still friends and it wasn't causing tension with the other girls but clearly they have a problem with Camila or visa versa.
But I'll support queen either way, even though I'd like her to have continued success with the group because they have the oppurtunity to make a real big name for themselves right now.

Here's the thing though for me, how much freedom do you truly believe she has to just "leave the group"? Surely there'd be consequences for that too. I don't think the girls are multimillionaires yet that can afford to buy out their contracts. Are we sure there'd be some open option to just leave the group perhaps before whatever number of albums they're contracted for are complete?
I don't personally know whether she wants to stay or go. But I don't believe it'd be as easy as "Nope, nevermind. I quit. Have fun without me ya'll!"
