She looks intimidating, which is a good thing. The original costume wasn't going to translate, especially if they were going to use Rita in a combat role.

I'm not here for poison ivy Rita. I grew up with the Rangers and hardcore fan. That outfit better not be her only look.

I know it's completely different but I LIVE. That looks like a combat outfit (see ash/dirt all over body)) and I have a feeling she will change outfits frequently throughout the movie, which is more realistic and less cheesy than just wearing one outfit all the time. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a modern interpretation of the classic Rita at some point.

I also love the BTW prosthetics and FAME gold claws.

This all coming from someone who watched Power Rangers during it's original broadcast and realized he was gay when he saw the red ranger.

An absolute MESS! She looks like a mix between Scorpina and Poison Ivy.

The Power Rangers are in my top 10 favorite things ever but this movie looks like trash and I hope it flops tragically.

Apparently there's a reason behind the costume that links her to the Power Rangers. I also remember there was a fan film that explained Rita's origins when she was searching for the coins, so perhaps she's feeding off the Green Rangers power that comes with the coin? I guess we'll see.
