My local state senate election has been getting so much more coverage in my Long Island town than any presidential politics Mel Brooks recorded a robo message for one of the candidates, there are different staffers at the train station each morning handing out info, and there are endless tv commercials. It must have cost these guys a fortune for this usually irrelevant state election.
I like Bernie Sanders, both for his straight-talking populism and the dedication to the welfare of all Americans in his heart. He’s a decent man with the courage of his convictions. He will make a strong ally for Clinton.
But Clinton possesses that rare but crucial combination of idealism and pragmatism. She can both envision a better world and take the necessary steps to make that vision a reality. She embodies the principles of the Age of Reason and isn’t afraid to fight against the confederacy of dunces who would undermine the principles of inclusion and diversity that America stands for.
I've never commented in this thread but I'm always reading it. I've been so torn between Hillary and Bernie but I think I'm leaning more towards Hillary honestly I'm perched for tomorrow
I've explained before (multiple times) Emerson has a very good track record. It's poll on the last state to have a primary (WI) was spot on.
They've been good at predicting the winners of primaries, but Bernie usually over-performs their polling numbers by a few percentage points while Hillary under-performs (one exception i can think of was South Carolina)
I mean, every poll has to be taken with a grain of salt. It's C+ rating on 538 says so too.
It'll be exciting to see the accuracy of polls for a state like NY where there's been lots of polls.
Does anyone know what time results will start coming in tomorrow? I've been a bit absent in these last couple of weeks but New York is a big one! I'm excited.

Actually for Wisconsin Hillary was spot on while Bernie slightly (with like 2 percentage points) overperformed. But yeah every poll should be slightly scrutinized but usually C+ or higher is pretty darn accurate.
