Nicki did Warning in 2007 and then followed it up with her Jump Off. 5 Star (Remix) was what really put her on, though. But yeah, she was huge prior to 2010 and already had multiple hits.

I agree what I said was subjective, its just my opinion. And weak spotify numbers are by no means the downfall of a career lol. But her spotify performance is just evidence of what I suggested - that Meghan is not cool, and so she will struggle to elevate herself into top tier relevance. It's difficult to imagine her stealing the show at an award show, or delivering unforgettable looks ie. being memorable in some way.

Liking Meghan is definitely not cool, her image haunts her. The pop industry is the most superficial one in music business. When people imagine a perfect pop star they imagine Britney Spears or Katy Perry.

In other words Meghan is fat and the market is too superficial to accept that.

Tho I have to admit she's bringing the best tracks like NO. A lot better than what Ariana, Selena, Demi and Miley have been doing the last few years.

Just a daily reminder that Meghan still isn't a main pop girl! If you asked 100 people on the street her name, you'd probably get 15 who recognize it at best. Meanwhile, say Beyonce. Say Britney Spears. Say Rihanna. Say Taylor Swift. Almost 75-100 people would recognize it.
