I have to be honest, I would have never expected Bey to be the one doing these off the wall artistic culturally and politically charged masterpieces. I knew she was capable, but I didn't think she would ever do it.

She could sell 459 copies for all I care. I just know that I will be one of them and that she put her heart and soul into whatever this 'Lemonade' is. I can't believe I've been the God-given privilege of being in my young-twenties at just the right time to be able to witness this legend being made and experience all her art first hand.

It's such a risky path to take but I'm so proud of her. She's built up so much influence and respect over the years and she's using her platform to bring attention to real issues. We often complain about promo or wanting just one more smash or whatever but she's not using her power to make basic pop music like some singers. She's not playing it safe, it's going to be interesting to watch.

I'd thought she stayed on the path of 4. Make amazing music as she see fits, fun, sad, happy, lovely, etc. But never this far. She's doing so much more, more than many other artists would ever dare. Literally the type of amazing **** I see in indie or unknown artists that deserved much more attention.

I honestly reckon a key element that keeps motivating Beyoncé is proving people wrong. She clearly keeps going harder as a perfectionist but I think she knows people were wishing she would show more of an in depth part of herself which we then got in the form of ST. People always criticise her for not being a voice for these issues and voila, she becomes the biggest voice possible.

Not to say that Beyoncé gives a single **** what people think, but I reckon she low key gets a kick out of repeatedly proving them wrong.
