I think I got Seiken Densetsu 3 and some other snes games but they played and looked like trash

Oh yeah, I couldn't work out how to get the frame rate for certain games to not be at like 8 fps so I just gave up on it

I've only seen a few complaints about it, but they seem to mostly stem from the assumption that if you get to choose your protagonist (i.e. between Link or Linkle), they will be very flat characters since the game creators won't create two different storylines/dialogue options, etc. Link always lacks personality, but I think fans of the series want to see that change a bit, and if they go with a 'choose your own protagonist' concept, it obviously won't change.

Lmao I don't understand why anyone would get mad over something that they shouldn't expect anyway. Link is pretty much a silent protagonist and always will be. If people want something more then they should go find another series because that's not what Zelda is all about.

Like, no one goes into a Pokemon game expecting the playable character to have a personality and no one is asking GameFreak to give him one either

The water one is one of my favorites ever. Manipulating the aqueduct system to navigate the temple is definitely a creative highlight.

And Snowpeak Ruins.

Majora's Mask > OoT > Twilight Princess > Wind Waker

I applaud their creativity with Wind Waker, but collecting the triforce pieces was overwhelmingly tedious and the sailing system in general was slow and boring (I don't think it helped that when I'd get lost I'd just sail around the world in search of something to do ).

It's their most creative Zelda game ever. The 3-day cycle, the mask system, the setting, etc. And the elaborate conspiracy theory of the plot revolving around the death of Link is the icing on the cake.

I actually really liked Wind Waker tbh. I was expecting not to but I was in awe the entire time, its so beautiful and I enjoyed playing it.
