The way it's spoken of by Bernie and Trump supporters suggests anarchy. The message has gotten violent and people who believe it so furiously as people who have no room for compromise.

Things need to be transitioned and allow people to adapt. Could you imagine if gay marriage would have passed in the 80s? There would have been riots and murders.

Sometimes slow and steady wins the race. If anyone is to blame, it's republicans and their unwillingness to cooperate with democrats so it makes it seem not much progress is made.

Oh trust me, I disagree with many of the things said on there, as I disagree with many of the things said by several Hillary supporters. It's fine, you essentially have to have political disagreements and be able to get through the day.

Perhaps you guys aren't understanding. Progressive beliefs? Essential and great. But these tactics? The random and aimless protests? The anti-establishment messages? I like Elizabeth Warren and company's progressive movement of compromise and working within the system. I don't like Bernie and company's reluctance to compromise even if it means a small net good and he wants to completely uproot the political system, something I'm very much against.

Not in the state they're currently in. Their basic platform is currently based in free everything without wondering or (at the very least) punching the math for who's going to pay for all of it, who will actually benefit from it, and how exactly it will effect the groups it's claiming to help (hint: it won't help them as much as being promised. it'll hurt them more before it actually benefits them). Not to mention, the angry protests and disgusting/ignorant rhetoric they use to convey those messages. That's not a path of logic that needs to be promoted or grown. Right now, they only serve as a counter to the already dwindling Tea Party and antagonizing moderates who actually are pushing for realistic changes in local legislation just because they aren't doing exactly what Progressives want, as immediately, etc.

You're criticizing a very particular part of the movement and generalizing its practices to the rest.

No. This is not at all accurate.

These are criticisms I see leveled at a certain proportion of young and underinformed, overzealous Bernie supporters, but they're not at all characteristic of the entire movement or even of all Bernie supporters.

There are plenty of people who are pushing for the right progressive developments for the right reasons with full understanding of the implications, short- and long-term.
