Sweetie, when did I say it wasn't? When did I say that she doesn't over dance on occasion? Are you paying attention to the discussion, or...

This isn't a good analogy, and if you're smart enough you can figure out why.

You asked for receipts. You got them. Now you can't refute them.
And this is one of the reasons why dance isn't one of Beyoncé's talents, not one of the reasons why I say she isn't a true dancer.

I'm not delusional I will give you credit, for the future breakdown, not the single ladies video. However we definitely seem to have 2 different viewpoints what you see as overdancing I honestly view as "going hard", she doesn't do that often her dancing can be smooth and slow however there are certain songs where she will turn it up 1000 notches and that is one of them. Which is why there's a pause to build anticipation.
However I will not admit to dancing not being one of Beyoncé's talents, your standards are laughable and if they were applied to literally any other profession multiple skilled people would be out of jobs. Nobody is perfect 100% of the time, not even Beyoncé or Ciara or Janet or MJ or Britney or Whitney or whoever. A mistake doesn't mean you aren't good at something, it just means you have rom to improve which is something nobody has ever debated

Your reasoning on these last two pages that Beyoncé doesn't have a natural talent for dance is because she 'over dances' on occasion. Mariah Carey over sang a lot and damaged her voice. By that logic, she doesn't have a natural talent for singing.
It's your logic sweetie. Maybe you should re-think it.

One big rule in dance is to never learn anything wrong, because when you learn it wrong, it's hard to unlearn it. Beyoncé has been over dancing since she went solo. So the chances of her learning how to properly dance are very slim. When you "go hard" in dance, a lot of things can happen. You lose proper posture, you're alignment is off, you risk injury, it causes hyperextension which leads to injury, it looks sloppy, etc. It's one thing to have a hiccup every now and then, but Beyoncé is consistent with her lack of true dance skill. I have high expectations for what is considered greatness (look who my screen name is named after), and when they fall short, I have no problem calling a spade a spade.

"Someone else's conversation?" This is a public forum. Exclusivity doesn't exist. I can comment on anything you put on here and you shall deal. And yes, you are ignorant. You implied that African dance is merely "stomping feet" and "raising hands to the sky" as if there is no technique involved in African dance. You are wrong and uninformed. There is technique involved in different African dances and all African dances should not be grouped. For example, most Nigerian dances utilize the hips, whereas Ghanaian dances typically utilize the feet and hands. And not every African dance involves dancing to a drum. That's your narrow-minded sterotypical and uninformed view of African dance.

the delusion in this thread and it's so damn blatant lmao
beyonce is obviously the better dancer and it's no shade but even when britney was at her peak, it wasn't that complicated either so anybody saying that britney's dancing was more complicated it wasn't. but of course leave it to atrl, they'll make every excuse for britney and then say beyonce's "not that great" so i'm not shocked at these responses
but you've got youtube and etc. to see that beyonce is a better dancer than britney spears and has been since 2007 therefore she's better and has been for years now

Britney was and is still a better dancer.
But Beyoncé is more famous and relevant right now, so she wins this one, sadly Britney's name is more associated with other stuff about her personal stuff rather than her talent, so her biggest talent dancing is a blurry thing to the GP.

That's ONE of the reasons. I reckon you read before making such claims. Also, did you miss this part:
"Someone with a talent for dance has a natural gift of dance, which includes the understanding, approach, application, and presentation of the art form, among other things."

Oh my
Yes. It was someone's conversation, you can have a conversation with someone else on a public forum, and I never said you couldn't join in I merely said you were being ignorant for barging into someone's conversation and putting words into their mouth which you did.
Go re-read the conversation I was having or at least go back to the post I replied to, then re-read my post, then go read the post I replied to again then re-read my comment AGAIN, and then come back to me and explain how I defined what African dance is ty

still is? LOL
the blatant delusion and a lot of it comes from you guys discrediting beyonce because the jealousy of britney fans being mad that beyonce is where britney should be is so absolutely obvious.
britney should be delivering the performances that beyonce delivers, but she doesn't. so y'all somewhere in ur heads believe that britney spears performs better than beyonce and dances better than her when i haven't seen britney spears completely move for a whole performance. her last televised performance wasn't even live and full of edit cuts.
and this "all beyonce does is shake her ass" or "stomp her feet" is that ******** that a lot of you gays tend to do but the minute britney spears slings her extensions or swivels her hips it's YAS BRITNEY **** ME UP!!! which is that underlying racism. so i'm not shocked a lot of u still believe britney is a better dancer than beyonce, beyonce could leave her blood, sweat and tears on stage and y'all will still say all she does is "shake her ass" but britney spears isn't even dancing or performing on the level that beyonce does but white mediocrity goes a very long way on this forum and to gay people.

Yall make this thread every year.
Both are extremely overrated but Britney in her prime was a better dancer. Her dancing was alot more technical.
Beyonce's dancing consists nothing more than stomping, weave flips, puzzy grinding and booty pops. She recycles the same damn moves and if you've seen one Beyonce choreo you pretty much seen them all. And thats no shadr.
But i guess Beyonce is the better dancer now

Beyoncé has all those things, the only thing you seem to be bashing her for is dancing too hard. 'Over dancing'. You're really failing to make your point here.

again, proving points. beyonce deadass has learned african choreography and footwork but leave it to y'all to discredit her she's "flipped her weave", "stomped" and "booty popped"
as if britney didn't sling her hair, touched her waist and swivel her hips a lot of the time

I don't need to re-read a thing. I fully understood your flawed statement. You tried to diminish the technique involved in African dance by saying "stomping their feet" and "raising their hands to the sky" and comparing it to a pirouette as if that's the pinnacle of dance. MY point was there is technique in African dance so your statement presenting African dance as some inferior to a pirouette is ignorant and dumbfounded on your part. Maybe you should re-read your own posts before replying to me. I live in Africa and am far more educated on the dances here than you so don't insult my intelligence by telling me to re-read something.

I honestly don't understand why people post lies like this. Surely you don't honestly believe it, you can't be that mortifyingly disillusioned. I get wanting to rile up fans, it can be fun, but posting outright lies isn't really the way to do it.

I said in that same post that Britney was overrated as a dancer as well. Britney shimmied too but She has had more defining moments as a dancer than Bey. Britney from BOMT era to ITZ ***** on Bey dance wise. Thats just my opinion

You really should re-read what Anvarie said because you're claiming the exact OPPOSITE of what he said.
