Paterno was never charged with a crime. His assistant coach was caught several times abusing boys and Paterno knew about it and did nothing. He died soon after he was fired.
Joe Paterno didn't molest the young boys, it was his long time friend and Defensive Coordinator. Joe was part of the coverup and turned a blind eye to all that was going on. It's a shame really, that act pretty much ruined a legacy and reputation that transcended sports. EVERYONE knew Joe Pa. As a sports fan, I felt cheated and letdown.

I remember I was suuuuuuch a sports fanatic at the time (I still am) of the whole Sandusky/Paterno thing, I remember being pissed they fired Paterno Plus I was so young, I didn't even really know what was going on.
Glad I was able to EVOLVE like Hillary and realize how idiotic that was.
So this boy I hooked up with at NYU in 2014 was a rabbid Hillary supporter - and apparently a family friend - and now he's switched over to Bernie (he went to the rally today), claiming he "grew brain cells" I told him he'll still vote for Hillary in November so it doesn't matter!
Oh god Paterno. That's still fresh in my memories. I remember people thinking he was alright at first despite the accusations that he also joined in but then he got exposed for covering it up for the other guy and it just all came down.
Plus I was so young, I didn't even really know what was going on.
