Yep. It would be the first time in democratic history that the super delegates would vote against the pledged delegate winner coming into the convention. Effectively overturning the will of the people
Yep. And that's not a good argument or idea. Especially since Bernie's rhetoric lies in the "will of the people." If he successfully overturns that (though, I doubt that that's even realistically possible, but theoretically), it would be almost impossible for me to vote for him. If it's Bernie vs. Trump, and Bernie got the nomination because of turning all the super delegates to go against pledged delegates and popular vote....... I would likely vote for him—in the end—only to vote against Trump. But I would hate Bernie from that point on.
He does, but I think him forcing a contested convention is entirely emotional and not a rational mindset. Contested conventions hurt the presumptive nominee. Also, I will find it almost impossible to vote for Bernie if he were to win at a contested convention because he were to magically flip all the super delegates to him and Hillary still lead by pledged delegates and popular vote. I would be too angry at him to think rationally.
Oh he absolutely should NOT force a contested convention that would just be selfish and detrimental to the party
Daily News is very progressive. Some of the headlines from the past include
"Drop Dead Ted"
"Dawn of the Brain Dead" (with Donald on the cover)
"God Isnt Fixing This" (In response to people praying for gun victims)
"NRAs Sick Jihad"
"Trump For Prez" (With KKK member on cover)
They focus a lot on gun violence though, so I could see that on an issue Bernie is viewed at as less progressive than Hillary on that they would go with her.
Thoughts on the Justice Department recently announcing a $5 billion settlement by Goldman Sachs for their fraudulent practices?
I mean after all, Hillary was paid $675k for 3 speeches for Goldman Sachs and STILL refused to release transcripts from them.
One of those speeches (like video of it) is completely online...
I don't see the drama of giving a speech. She had a significant role (Secretary of State), so they asked her to come speak and paid her for compensation. I do not see what's troubling about that.
In this speech, she's just talking about women entrepreneurs... Why is this a big deal?
Even Bernie thought the Goldman Sachs speeches were not a big deal because Hillary had a right to earn an income after leaving the State Department (it was the first time in over 20 years that she had been a private citizen, and she didn't have a paying job). But then Tad Devine and Jeff Weaver told him to start attacking her, so he went after the speeches. Typical politician!

Then why not release the transcripts?
Must have been very important talks going on for those speaking fees.
You don't find it shady one bit that Hillary's camp REFUSES to release them?

Because they're not important. This is just a ploy and a political game from the Sanders campaign. If she released them, then the media would waste an entire day of the media cycle talking about pointless transcripts that serve no purpose to her actual message & campaign. She will not be strong-armed by caving into the opposition's games.
I'm sure Hillary's speeches were all about fraud and screwing over poor people
Here is the reality. Hillary is THAT BITCH. She's top dog in public life. The same way Christina gets a million per private performances, the same way Linda Evangelista said "I don't get out of bed for less than $10,000 a day", the same way Mariah said she wasn't doing American Idol for 12M and wanted 16M. When you have a CERTAIN RESUME, you're gonna get a big paycheck. She's not some homely State Rep from Montana. She is FLOTUS, New York US SENATOR, SECRETARY OF STATE. She's probably the top figure in American Politics today. One of the top in GLOBAL politics. She's one of the most respected figures in the International Community. You get paid a lot when you have a certain resume and status. This is the biggest non-issue ever.

True, it's very weird that he's hiding those when it's become the standard for all presidential candidates.
They keep asking him to release them and all he says is "Trust me there is nothing exciting or interesting there" So basically we should blindly trust him but question Hillary? Sounds shady to me.

And the talking heads on MSNBC bring up Trump avoiding the release of his taxes every day or two, but you never hear about Bernie not releasing his. The media is so forgiving to the Sanders campaign, it's ridiculous
"Ah, you know, I am soooo proud of all of my friends here at Goldman Sachs for screwing over the poor. I mean, really. What a wonderful effort. Remember, we go UP by keeping them DOWN!"

The same reason Bernie won't release his tax records. Non issues which will only serve to distract from their core issues. And it's not shady because all of her speeches to them are like the one linked by Bloo. That's it
