Idk about Ari at this point. Looks like she's not aiming for major mainstream success this era so the confusion about her will continue on. Like it or not, Meghan is currently #3 on the Hot 100 and had a pure sales platinum album in 2015, she's the closest one we have without the high public figure status and impact to her name. She will most likely be the P!nk of this gen.

If we're counting Nicki - which we should, seeing as her audience demographics are similar to many pop girls and she's worked with Max Martin, Dr. Luke, RedOne and the like - then she's the biggest so far this decade.
