I feel like although Taylor was always big, she officially joined the ranks with Bey, Rih, Brit, Gaga & Katy with the 1989 era? Does that make sense? Adele for instance, she's slaying rn but I still don't consider her one of the big "pop girls"

Meghan and Ari are literally the only new girls this decade with somewhat legitimate stats to argue them of being a Main, and Nicki should be A list by now. No way she's still B with all the accolades she's racked up these past 6 years.

What? Pink was and still is huge. Missundaztood was released in late 2001 and has gone 6x plat in the US and 6x plat in the UK.

RED was actually the era were Taylor joined the pop club, she became a topic in pop culture.

Before that she was the successful country singer that Kanye shaded in the VMA's.

She was always country, though. She wasn't pop before, and we don't know what her next move will be. She could return to country, switch genres again, do pop for 1 year, 5 years, 10 years... we'll see, but it's hard to judge with her kind of career. It's different from the others.
