The actual number labels make per audio stream is even higher factoring out video streams since they make almost nothing. Billboard's 1,500 audio streams = 1 formula is fine.

If they are going to stick with that formula, they should take the time to apply it to old digital classic since a lot of them (Poker Face, Rolling in the Deep, I Gotta Feeling, etc.) are still seeing longevity to this day, especially through streaming. I refuse to live in a world where See You Again and Uptown Funk numerically look like bigger hits than the former.
