Lol, I don't. I was happy that she supports it. We should have border security, with a better path to citizenship so that people don't have to come in illegally. I don't see a problem with that, personally.
The idea of increase border security is only terrifying when Trump talks about his wall. I don't see any rational argument against it, honestly. Many people don't like the idea of an open border policy.
I could see the benefit in a "fence" if the U.S. speed up the citizenship process first. You can't blame immigrants, who had no say in what country they were born in, for wanting a shot at a better life.

Agreed. The immigration process is atrocious, and they wonder why people would rather sneak over here than go through the process of becoming a citizen.

That's fair. I want both to happen. The immigration process is awful right now, and needs to be fixed to allow easier citizenship. But, I would also like border security increased.

She hasn't talked about it much, so I don't even think it's one of her priorities. She seems to be more concerned about fixing the pathway to citizenship.

These fences were voted for when Hillary was Senator. She has no plans to build more as president and thinks the focus should be on legal citizenship and getting illegal immigrants who are criminals out.
So yeah those fences have nothing to do with the economy going forward.

My friends and I agree not to talk much about politics because we're a mess.... Among my tightest group, we have a Bernie supporter, a staunch republican (whom she doesn't know who she wants to vote for other than she HATES BERNIE ), an independent, my best friend who supports HRC, and another republican.
