The most annoying thing about the "political revolution" is that Bernie is not raising money for down-ticket dems, people who he would need for a revolution. The voter turnout for a "revolution" just isn't there either. Like it just doesn't make sense.
I think there is a certain amount of ego involved with all politicians and his campaign probably cannot resist the idea that when he wins the NOM, he can hold the whole party hostage until they bow to his desires.

“They’re both totally qualified to be president,” Joe Biden explained regarding Clinton and Sanders. But in an obvious jab at Sanders, he went on to opine that “Hillary’s overwhelmingly qualified to be president.” Even while continuing to insist that he would let voters decide, Biden stated that “I would like to see a woman elected.” With there being only one woman in the race, it was clear who he was referring to.
