The Taliban still has a very large amount of control over the region, and the country has not improved a whole lot in key metrics like HDI (where they're still at the bottom of the barrel) over the course of our occupation. The government's work in Afghanistan (and the Middle East in general) has been quite inefficient and generally not a great use of our troops and time.

Why don't they ever put Symone Sanders on TV? The only people I ever see on behalf of Bernie are Tad & Jeff.

I wholeheartedly agree He really is only on there because Bernie has known him since the "good old days" He has such a sleazy look and shady past and has, as said in the thread, always been a kind of serial loser Stan for Symone though

Trust me, he's no where perfect, but his options from what he has on staff, it's his best choice to go with. It's either that or hire from outside. Doing that is over-the-top when you're at the ending stages of the campaign. From within makes more sense.

Bill needs to check himself....he seems to be more concerned with defending his own legacy than being a surrogate for his wife at this point
