Anyways, I listened to the SITW performance again and it seems so rushed She didn't have time to breathe A little pitchy too compared to how perfect she was on the duet with Keith.
it was a little bit but you know idol, always rushing for time and stuff, i think she felt rushed as she had to fit the song within the allocated minutes. This was one of the better performances of SITW really, she's always quite pitchy on it generally but this was good!
Man, I really loved the something in the water performance. it gave me goosebumps... i mean it's the same stage where she won American Idol 10 years ago and she came back to the very same stage for the final time on american idol singing a grammy winning song that sold over a million copies! It beautifully came full circle and was fitting for the finale
All her live performances of 'Something in the Water' have been absolutely amazing. I'm starting to feel that 'Something in the Water' may be more of a signature song than 'Blown Away', and it's in the 'Jesus, Take the Wheel' and 'Before he Cheats' trinity of signature songs.
As well, does anyone feel that despite being a weaker seller - 'Heartbeat' seems relatively big? My country station literally plays it a dozen or so times a day, and it seems to be everywhere.

you're actually right. It definitely is. but blown away has sold more so far, so we'll see how that goes.
